Easter Eve Celebration

On Easter Eve, live from BPAC, experience the last week of Christ through music alternating with scripture readings. The rich repertoire includes J. S. Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring,” Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings”, Mascagni’s “Ave Maria” and the beloved Easter hymn, “Jesus Christ is Risen Today.” Featured soloists are Tim Altman, trumpet, and Young Mee Jun, soprano. The Carolina Philharmonic will be led from the keyboard by Maestro David Michael Wolff. Familiar verses (from the King James Version) will be read by several readers.
